What does it cost to be in the club?

A.

Part time players that come one time a week will be charged $75.00 a month.  If you attend two or more times a week you will be charged $125.00 a month.  Additional charges may apply if you choose to play in tournaments through the club.

How does a player join the club? How old do you have to be?

A.

Anyone can join our club as a Beginner to Intermediate player.  If you wish to be considered as an Elite Player then you will need to reach out to Coach Long via the website contact form or via e-mail and request a personal tryout.  You will be invited to a two week tryout period where the coaches will assess your skills and determine your club status.  You must be at least 11 years old to join our club.

What is the typical schedule like for the club?

A.

We practice and playing tournaments every month for nine month from November till July.  Our typical down time runs from mid August to mid October.  We play at least one if not two tournaments every month during our active period.

Does the club travel? Can parents travel with the club?

A.

Next Level Beach Volleyball is the biggest traveling junior beach volleyball club in the country.  There is no club that travels mores teams to more events than our club.  We believe in getting out nationally in order to expose our players to the highest level of competition on the country.  Our team travels as a unit, and parents are invited to travel to our tournaments to simply come and root our club on or as chaperones.

How Big Is Junior Beach Volleyball & College Beach Volleyball?

Women's beach volleyball is the fastest growing sports in women's college athletics.  It is also totally taken off in the juniors ranks as well with many new junior beach volleyball organizations starting including U.S.A Volleyball, A.A.U Volleyball, Volley America, Clubs of America, J.V.A Volleyball.  There a lot of organizations running Junior National programs.  This is awesome for junior players because it gives them a lot of opportunities.

When was the club founded? Who runs the club?

A.

The club was founded in 2012 by Rob Long a former Pro Beach Volleyball player.  Today Rob is still involved as the leader and head coach of the club along with a variety of other great coaches to support the club.  Despite the fact that Rob is one of the most modest coaches you will ever meet and rarely talks about his distinguished resume when it comes to beach volleyball.  Here are a few highlights:  Former Pro Beach Volleyball Player, Former College Volleyball Player Ball State University, U.S.A Club Director, Ohio Valley Region Club Director.

What is the primary goal of the club?

A.

To teach, coach, and train players to excel at the sport of beach volleyball.   We teach and coach our players on the three main aspects of the game: physical conditioning, technical playing skills, and the mental aspects of the game.  We provide a fun environment where players can work as hard as they want to in order to become the level of player they wish to be.

What is the caliber of the coaches who are coaching at the club?

A.

Coaching is key to our success, so we have invested a great amount of time in finding top coaches who truly understand the game and the goals of our organization.  We have the most qualified beach volleyball coaching staff in the entire Midwest.  They are all Pro Am type players who have put a lot of time and energy in becoming very knowledgeable about the sport, and who are interested in becoming future collegiate beach coaches.

Where does the club practice? How often does the club practice?

A.

Our clubs home courts are at Grand Sand in Loveland, Ohio.  Practices are based on the level of play a player is in at our club.  Our Intermediate Program players practice twice a week while the Elite Program Players practice three to four times a week.
