Jordan Smith has committed to play beach volleyball in college at South Carolina. We would like to congratulate Jojo on her accomplishments as a beach player for Ohio Valley Beach Volleyball Club, and on her big announcement. We are very proud of her as a player, a leader at the club, and for being such a great person in general. South Carolina is getting a great addition to its squad.
What can we say about Jo Jo? She is a blazing fast defender that can cover a lot of ground. She is athletic and quick and gets to balls most players just can’t seem to reach. She has the mental game to go along with her superior skills. She may not be the tallest player on the court, but she will stand her ground against anyone and plays hard at all times. She is a smart player that knows how to work the court and knows how to quickly figure out her opponent’s weaknesses. She has had multiple first-place finishes already this year.
Finally, she is respected and well liked by other players at the club. Jordan has worked very hard, is very dedicated, and she brings huge potential and upside to South Carolina. Way to go Jojo!
